After signing up, Snov.io users must connect a sender email. It's one of the first critical steps — but the old interface was a mess: confusing fields, no descriptions, two save buttons.

Problem

Users couldn't configure their email settings correctly and flooded support. The main pain point: Google SMTP requires an App password — not a regular password — and there was no guidance anywhere.

Provider presets

Collected 15+ popular email providers and created ready-made setting presets. Users choose a provider and enter only their email and password.

Grouped and simplified UI

Grouped settings by type. Hid advanced settings behind a toggle. Separated and described the daily sending limit — one of the most important parameters.

Google SMTP guidance

Added a "How to create it" hint next to the App password field — that's where most users got stuck.

Result

+20% increase in email account setup speed. Reduced support team workload.
